Prince Harry competed in Sunday’s Super Bowl game with his cousin Princess Eugenie, but his wife Meghan was nowhere to be seen.
The 37-year-old rebellious royal was photographed with his cousin at Crypto Stadium in Los Angeles during a Sunday night game. They sat in luxurious leather chairs inside a private box.
Both Harry and Evgenia, 31, wore masks in accordance with Los Angeles County regulations requiring KN95 or N95 grade masks for outdoor events attended by large audiences.
Their presence at the star-studded event was announced by the NFL itself.
The NFL UK Twitter account shared a picture of them and wrote: “Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie at home in #SBLVI.”
While it’s not surprising that Harry will be attending what is arguably the biggest event of the year in America – despite previously claiming that the spotlight of royal life weighed heavily on him – it’s unusual that he wasn’t accompanied by his wife.

Some social media users initially mistook Evgenia for Meghan, but the 40-year-old former actress was nowhere to be seen.
The couple, who married in 2018 and live in nearby Montecito, are the parents of two-year-old Archie and eight-month-old Lilibet.
They abruptly retired from royalty in early 2020 and are now carving out a niche for themselves as professional philanthropists after signing massive deals with Netflix and Spotify.
Harry is also set to go public about all of his relationships with his estranged family in a $20 million memoir due to be published later this year. The Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William are said to have been completely stunned by the news of the book.
The former royal secretly collaborated with Pulitzer Prize-winning ghostwriter J.R. Mehringer to write what the publishers called “the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that helped shape it.”

Meanwhile, the royal family is grappling with the scandal surrounding Eugenie’s disgraced father, Prince Andrew, who is facing a civil rape charge in the United States from Jeffrey Epstein’s victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre.
Andrew, 61, denies the allegations against him.
He retired from public life in the UK after a disastrous TV interview and faced further ignominy after his close friend Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted of pedophilia late last year.
The disgraced prince was also stripped of his royal title and of his remaining military and charitable connections. Now he must fight allegations of rape and sexual assault in US courts as a private individual.
