Perhaps that’s why cult classic fans are obsessed with Proshka, the grumpy-faced Brussels griffin who lives in Sheffield with her owner, Stephanie Doherty.

Since June 2020, Stephanie has been sharing photos of her cranky dog ​​and three other dogs, Penelope, Tati and Ruby, on Instagram.

But it was Proshka who overshadowed everyone with his grumpy expression and disheveled fur, winning legions of fans from all over the world.

Stephanie said strangers stopped her to ask what breed two-year-old Proshka was, and also compared him to Chewbacca and the Grinch.

His owner claims he loves the attention and has become a prominent star in her pet gang.

She dressed Proshka in a series of costumes for touching TikTok videos, including the Grinch, Danny from Grease, and gangsters from Peaky Blinders.

Stephanie said she was inspired to get her first dog, Ruby, after seeing the breed in As Good As It Gets with Jack Nicholson.
