The 22-year-old mother said she thought she was only in her first trimester when she suddenly felt the urge to poop — and gave birth to a full-term baby boy in the toilet.

Michigan’s Teagan Brill is now the proud mother of one-year-old boy Owen, but his arrival in February of last year came as a major shock.

Brill first suspected she was pregnant a week earlier and took a positive pregnancy test, but assumed she was one or three months pregnant.

Thinking she still had time to get through the pregnancy, she was bewildered when she went to the toilet and noticed that her “hole is huge” – and quickly pulled the newborn out, wrapping it in a towel, while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. .

Brill shared her story in a series of TikTok videos explaining why she didn’t know she was pregnant for so long.

She insisted she didn’t look pregnant, and six months later she even took a vacation to the beach where she wore a bathing suit all the time – and no one noticed she looked any different.

“No one could tell, no one knew. Not that I was huge with a tummy,” she said. “I looked normal.”

In fact, at about six and a half months, she says, she remembers thinking her legs had never looked so skinny and she looked “fucking good.”

What she did notice was that her hair and skin looked “amazing” – she now knows it was due to the pregnancy, but at the time, it didn’t give her cause for concern.

Finally, she said, she found out she was pregnant about a week before her son was born.

“I texted my boyfriend and said, ‘Baby, either I’m very fat, like I’m getting fat, or I’m pregnant. It has to be one of them,” and he was like, “Well, take the test and you will find out,” she recalled.

Although she gained some weight, Brill said she continued to bleed for nine months and believed she was menstruating so she had no idea what she could expect.

“I had my period, so there is no reason to believe that I am pregnant,” she said.

But in light of her weight gain, she decided to take the test and found out she was pregnant. However, she had no idea that she could go this far.

“I thought maybe because we were working remotely, he lived in Colorado, I lived in Michigan so I could tell exactly when something was happening and so I thought, ‘Oh, we’re either in a month or three months,” she said.

Then, one Monday evening in February 2021, she felt unwell and realized that something was wrong.

“I just thought, ‘Wow, I feel bad, guys,'” she said.

At the time, she was a senior at Hope College in Holland, Michigan.

The next morning, she revealed today that she had severe stomach cramps and thought she needed to poop, but when she went to the toilet, she couldn’t get up.

At first she thought she was having a miscarriage, but then she took a closer look.

“I literally looked down. My hole was so big,” she said on TikTok.

“It didn’t feel like regular shit. I looked down and my hole was huge. I literally felt it, and it was hard as a rock, and I just thought, “Um, that’s a kid.”

“And I pulled it out. He didn’t splash in the toilet, he didn’t hit the toilet. I pulled it out and kept talking on the phone to the ambulance, like ambulance, 911, because I went to the bathroom and couldn’t get up.

“So I called all my roommates, I heard their phones ringing… but no one answered their calls because it was about seven in the morning.

“So I called an ambulance, 911, after, and I just said, ‘I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but someone has to come and help me, because this is not normal.

“They came literally five minutes after I took the child to the toilet. I looked down, saw him coming out, pulled him out, wrapped him in a towel, and then the ambulance came.”
